Coach Mike is the Director & Founder of Connecticut Heat Basketball who now has Fifteen plus years of AAU experience. Since 2003 he has assists several athletes in achieving their goals of playing at the “ Next Level” . Over the years Coach Mike’s teams have achieved several honors, including Connecticut AAU State Championships as well as a Top Five finish in the AAU Girls National Championships . Coach Mike also has ten plus years of Girls High School experience where he has won Three Connecticut State Championships. Coach Mike is currently the Girls Varsity Assistant Coach at New Britain High School .

Coach Jay has coached both our Boys and Girls Teams for the past 9+ years with the Connecticut Heat. During his Tenure he has Coached his Teams to multiple State AAU Championships as well as Tournament Championships against top competition from throughout the Northeast and beyond. In addition, Coach Jay  has been the architect for many of our highly competitive Teams. He has also played an instrumental role in working with many of our Student Athletes that have worked hard to expand their overall games in route to achieving their goal of becoming Collegiate Student Athletes.

Coach Taylor has been coaching with CT HEAT for 6 plus years leading her Teams to multiple AAU State Championships. Throughout her years, she has used her experience as a College Basketball Player and College Assistant Coach at WCSU to help her players improve their fundamental skills and taught them to train and compete at a high level. As a result, Coach Taylor has had a number of her former players achieve their goal of becoming Collegiate Student Athletes. Coach Taylor is also currently an Assistant Coach at her alma mater, Midletown High School.
